I just purchased a Brown Turkey Fig tree this weekend. There I was at the nursery buying basil and parsley and I saw the tree. All the memories of my childhood wtih my dad flooded back to me. Taking care of the trees and picking and eating the figs.

My dad died in 1976, so I can't ask him what to do or how to care for the tree.

I am planning on putting it on the southside of my house in a protected area.

I live in York, PA. Almost near the Maryland line.

I need advise on watering.

I need to have an idea of how big the tree will get here in PA.

I need to understand what to do in the winter. There is many things I read and I want to get the feeling from people here on this forum.
