My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

love the kitchen stove, where is it from?

    I was apprehensive about using the stove. We got it from a friend. Before using it, we had repair people who specialize in old stoves come and look at it and make adjustments. It works fine though not as well as a new $500 stove from sears. We have to be more careful watching the baking a. In our area, Oakland, CA, there are at least 2 companies that service old stoves. I love it.

      We are renovating an original 1926 kitchen in a lakefront cottage. I love the personality of our kitchen and want to retain the feeling while adding some counterspace (we now have NONE at all). Is this vintage stove difficult to find parts for? Does it cook evenly? It is beautiful, but I'd love to know about how it works. Thank you :)

      Love you stove!!! and kitchen too.

      I found the exact same stove today on-line in canada were I live seller is asking for $1000.00 It is a 1950 okeef & merritt stove if any one is interested.

      We use an old 1950's stove daily. It works fine, however I would caution anyone looking at one to consider that they usually have pilots and possibly match lit ovens. Not that either is a problem, just some people feel uncomfortable with it.

      I sold my 2 yo flat top Frigidaire for the price of my 47 Nash stove! I was happy to dump it!
