Not sure if they will be able to help but Sprout Farms comes to mind. They used to sell fruit trees but now just have a u-pick operation. They have the Norhey listed on their website. They may know of a source to obtain that specific variety.

I did eventually track down my Norhey at Sprout Farms. I think they have mostly quit the consumer nursery business and do U-Pick apples and arborist work.

They had a few Norhey apples left but we could never connect on trips to Edmonton. There is now actually a tree that got delivered to my daughters yard in Edmonton which I will pick up and plant in the next couple days.

I've read mixed reviews on the Norhey that list it as very good eating or poor for fresh eating. Since I prefer acidy apples like the MacIntosh, I think I should enjoy it.

The only appeal I found in the Norhey was yellow color and I already have a Norland, Parkland, and Westland which aren't. My mother had a Heyer 12 and ripe and rotten seemed to happen about the same day. Norhey is supposed to be an improvement.

Is it of importance that your apple actually be of yellow coloring OR simply have the unique flavour that yellow apples do? Read about 'Norkent' and see what you think? It's said to be an excellent apple!

I'm looking to cross my early Zone 1/2 early apples with some Zone 3 commercial apples or those with commercial characteristics and see if anything useful comes up.

Zone 3 apples tend to survive here but can take some wicked winter damage some years.

Norkent is a good apple. Very good size and crisp.

Question for you? Are you familiar with the Dewdrop Honeysuckle bred at Beaverlodge?
They are sold by T&T Seeds but so far the plants I have gotten have not grown.I got a tip cutting off the shoot but that is a very slow way to get plants.
