it's up to personal preference, but I like having clover in my lawn. There is even a push to have all-clover lawns. Here is an intersting article:

A broadleaf weedkiller should control it. You should check if your fertilizer specifically has a weedkiller built in, if it doesn't then it's not fighting the clover.

I don't mind having it in the lawn all that much either - it's better than dandelions and chickweed!

But the thing that I do totally hate about white clover is that it spreads by above-ground stolons, therefore it can hop over lawn edging, put out new roots, and keep going in the flower bed. Grrrrrr

Get yourself some Killex Herbicide Weed Control, it will kill all kinds of weeds, I have the bottle right in front of me and it does say Clover.

Errr... remind me to stay away from the clover at Sharon's house... LOL!

If you have a lot of clover to treat and you don't like squeezing a sprayer all day (as I don't!), the granular weed killers work fine. Make sure you use a good distributer and apply when the grass is slightly damp but not wet and rain isn't forecast. There are hose-end sprayer ones now too but I haven't tried them.

Well I went on that website (thankyou mcav0y) and maybe clover isnt so bad, afterall it is greener than my lawn. And it is better than dandelions. But I will continue to fertilize cause I would like to have a green lawn one day, lol. (Even the clover laugh at me)
