Hi Nikki,

If that is a herbaceous peony it should grow fine for you. Tree peonies are a whole different story, not so happy in these cold zones.

Where did you find this? Are you planning on getting two different varieties of peonies?

Spiffy is a P. lactiflora (Japanese flower form), therefore absolutely, he will be very hardy for your zone.

I already have extra peonies in my back holding bed, that will be moved out later this summer. No room for anymore. However they do have some gorgeous white ones, that are reasonalbly priced.

I love Pastel Splendor, but until those Itoh hybrids come down under the $50 mark, they're out of my reach. I wonder if that will ever happen?
