I had spider mites on my Cordyline last year, too, but just discovered them in early spring. It looked fairly ratty when I threw it outside (I had basically given up on it). The darn thing survived, and now the top part looks quite decent. I tried researching whether or not the plant can be air-layered, but found no information. I think I'm going to try it.

As for staying up so late: remember, Sharon, the GW forum time is Eastern Daylight, and I live in the Mountain Daylight Time Zone. So, it was really only 1:10 a.m. when I made the first post. I'm a night-hawk, and I'm on summer vacation. ;-)

Check out my other post on scanned photos from Australia. No one has responded it it, yet; perhaps I should have given it a different title. The flower shots are really amazing. Maybe someone in the Far North forum can give it a try.
