lol..How true. We northern gardeners are a tough lot. Last year I was outside in the garden while a storm was brewing and when lightening hit a power pole across from our place I did run for cover...lol..Jean

How true. If us northern gardners worried about the weather we might as well pave our whole yard front and back. I actually knew some one who did that. At my age putzing in the garden is the best thing for me physically and mentally.

It's too bad nature wouldn't allow us to do some trading.

I have excess rain to trade this year, as well as about 100 dragonflies that have eaten my mosquitoes. I'd be willing to send someone about 50 of them if I could trade for some sunny, light breeze, 22 degree days, LOL!

Me, I'll trade February and March for an extra copy of June and September.

I am with the extra June and September idea. I have siblings on the east coast, the west coast, Texas and Minnesota. The seasons are something like a two to three week lag going across the country, times 6 siblings, divide by two seasons...I think it is doable! Of course I was always better at gardening then math!
