How long have your awesome hostas been growing?

I hope we don't decide to move before mine get that big =:)

Hi. The hostas in the pictures are about 7 years old. They're fairly fast growing. A grower we bought from said that hostas prefer compost over fertilizer because compost gives them the micronutrients they need. I have always given mine a dose of compost every spring. Marg

Good to know. It just so happens the spot I'm preparing for the hostas already has some of my compost in it =:)
