I have an Atreano fig tree that has no figs on it yet. I bought it last year in February, and at the time it had 4 or 5 brebas on it that ripened late summer. Why did it not do that this year? And if I do get fruit, will it have time to ripen? This tree I thought was supposed to produce two crops a year. Granted it is a young tree, but last year was way more promising. Also growth is very slow. I have it potted in a container where it gets lots of sun, but it does droop in the afternoon. Does this type like a shadier spot in the afternoon? Any help would be appreciated!
