Lucky you, Donna! I had two lonely looking chipping sparrows at my feeder this morning. Apparently, they didn't get the Memo about the hawks living in my oak tree! Hope they don't disappear. Even my cardinals are lying low right now.

I'd love a flock of robins to cheer the place up!

Oh, Donna, you're so lucky!! I live only a couple of miles from you and have seen exactly ONE Robin so far this spring. Of course, spring is here. Are the Robins ever wrong??? When I was a kid in Ohio, the robins and lilacs arrived at about the same time. Crape Myrtle are fine, but absolutely NOTHING smells like a lilac. Oh well, at least I've not had to shovel snow for the past 50 years!!!

Marcia Im sure they will be comming your way soon. There were so many last night it looked as if a cloud was flying around my yard..lol I have 2 hawks roosting in the neighbors tree with a nest .. I can hear babies but cant ee ven with bnoculars!

Cora Im with you on the lilacs and especially with out allergies to crape mrytles I wish they grew here. I will try to talk to the robins and give them directions to your house! Maybe tomarrow or later today I can catch a few on camera but I was unprepared yesterday. As for the snow I would love to visit it but gotta say I erally dont miss it much anymore just the family that is still there.
