Kneifii (correct spelling) does not have maple-like leaves. The foliage is much divided (threadlike in a large fashion), even more so than regular goatsbeard, and regular goatsbeard's leaves are more divide than a maple leaf to begin with.

I don't know where I got the idea that the leaves were maple shaped, anyway now that I keep staring at the thing I've come to the conclusion that it's an astilbe of some sort. I love astilbes but I'm very dissapointed because I wanted that lovely goatsbeard and I have already moved it at least once because it wasn't growing the way I expected it to! Of course I no longer have the bill to return it to the nursery to get the proper plant! Guess I'll just have to do some more shopping. And I must learn how to post some pics; I'm pretty useless at most of this computer stuff Thanks.
