“It is my pleasure to review and recommend to you Chris Adams and his firm, Home Upgrades, LLC. My wife and I have worked exclusively with Chris on three home remodeling projects over the past two years. Chris was recommended to us by a local architect and was one of three firms I interviewed before selecting him for these projects. The work involved substantial improvements in i) converting two under-used small rooms into a larger bedroom and bath, ii) a total renovation of the kitchen including extensive plumbing, electric, lighting, new cabinetry and granite countertops, and iii) the complete gutting/remodel of three upstairs bathrooms with new floor and shower tile, plumbing and lighting fixtures, cabinets/countertops/plumbing and electric. All of this work was performed by experienced and skilled subcontractors under Chris's daily supervision. While the subs all knew their work very well, Chris knew the entire project and coordinated all of the purchasing, delivery, labor, materials and permitting needed to complete each of these projects on time and on budget. He also worked very well with our design consultant and executed the concept and plans very well. We are highly satisfied with our, essentially, new home! Chris took care to see that the work started and finished in a timely manner each day. All tools were neatly stored away and the work areas swept, vacuumed and cleaned at the end of each day. There was never any need to call him about any delay in schedule or poor quality work. The outcomes of his and his team's work leaves us with spaces we are pleased to be in, to entertain in, to live in. I have never dealt with a more qualified professional. “The contractor, Bryan Garska, is a friendly and knowledgable person who has been doing this for a long time. He is easy to work with and frequently came by the job to be sure the subcontractors were doing the work according to the plans. He and his office assistant, Emily Paluk, were easy to contact and they kept me up to date on the progress and the schedule. The job was a substantial single story addition to a two story house. It was started at about the same time as the Covid pandemic hit. At that time, supply chains and other issues made it difficult to get materials which caused significant increases in both the time and cost but Bryan's original estimate had taken that into account, and the job was completed at close to those estimates. A small increase in cost was due to alterations I requested after the job was started.”
