Help !!! With skunk ....

We have a new garden visiter.... In town... Seems to of picked my yard as a cut thur point since it is not fenced.. Anyway to steer him in a different direction.. Was heading for patio last night so pounded on window & he went running into neighbors yard. Or will scaring him work.. Phoned Fish & Wildlife they told me to phone nearest SPCA.. Yeh sure there going to come out from city??

Phoned town office, they know someone who will catch it for a fee... But I have to pay.. Any suggestions..

I don't know what would drive them away but please make sure you have no openings under your house it could crawl into. My poor Grandma always smelled of skunk because they would find a way under her house and then freak out from hearing people move around above them and spray... After many years her kids finally fixed the problem.

Wonder whether any of the scents you can buy in hunting/outdoor stores would work? Like coyote urine or ????? Good luck....

So far he hasn't left any smells around my yard.. Yet.. But others have smelled him down the block.. So far just seems to be passing thur...
