My 6 year old black mission usually produces wonderful, fat, juicy, and sweet figs. However this year the figs are small, hard, taste terrible, and are falling off the tree. I watered less than usual this year so could that be the issue? I'm really dissapointed because I love to eat the figs right off the tree. I also saw some big green beetles feasting on the figs.
