I am currently redesigning my master and guest bathroom. Both include mirrors (rectangular in shape) one being ten feet long by 4.5 feet tall the other being seven feet long by 4.5 feet tall. Both are standard mirrors with a brass edge around them which is about three fourths of an inch thick. I want to cover this brass piece and put a wooden frame around the mirrors. For the master bath, I want the framing to be elegant, as my painter is re-purposing the existing cabinetry and doing a mixed metal type of finish on the wood, old world antique look. Nee dideas for the framing of the mirror. For the guest bathroom, again , my painter re-purposed the cabinets, painting them an antique white (ivory tusk to be exact) distressing the edges, and then waxing them. For this mirror frame, I want something rustic luxe?
