what you can do for picture.
GOOGLE photobucket and go there and sign up for account its free you creat screename and password.
Then in photobucket on right side of screen click upload, you have to locate where photo is on your hardrive.
Then it loads in phtobucket.
After that hold mouse over picture that downloaded to photobucket and you will see some codes under that picture, the one you want to copy and paste when you post a message on this forum is HTML CODE.
Thats it, course in photobucket you can size your pictures
where it says upload under that in blue it says "more options"
click that and i use what says 15 inch screen (800x600) option.

ok I hope these pictures help to give better insight to my fig tree. I am hoping its just a fungus on the leaves. I treated the leaves with pure neem oil that i bought from home depot. The leaves turned the nasty brown after I treated them hmm. Before they just had yellow and small brown areas. Can you just add the neem oil to the soil in your watering?

The potting soil is a soilless mix from a local nursery that has the same things as taplas mix with the addition of macro and micro fertilizer with the dolomite.

you plant is fine.
Leaves have sunburn which they can get anyway from hot sun, when you took out of pot and damaged some roots you may have stressed it further,
but it will be ok, fig trees are very resiliant unless neglected in bad way such as improper winter storage. It may lose leaves but i can bet a ripe fig it will be just fine.
Oh and no need for any chemicals, the sun just took advantage of your plant in this situation and you can put it in semi shade for a bit till it recovers with new leaves.

Thanks ill see if I have a shady spot to move it until it is happy again...maybe my back patio area, it is a sunny area but not really what I would say direct sunlight. Not to many shady spots in my yard other than that lol.

love to know if you think my patio area will work.

the afternoon sun might stress it further mortning and eve sun would be ok . Just the hot afternoon sun no good for now, you can put plant up against that wooden fence to protect from afternoon sun perhaps.
Let us know what happens in future but im sure plant will be fine .

My dog has eaten off most of the fig leaves of a young plant. I ordered netting. Will the leaves grow back?
