I think I will be the voice of disention ... please, no one take offense as this is not directed at anyone or anything, but rather - there was a time that the gallery was good because posts dropped off. But the new GW doesn't purge the old posts so they stay on (it appears) forever.

When we posted all our photos on the main page and not in the gallery, it seemed we had a whole lot more activity on the forum. Maybe it's a coincidence, but to me it seems the activity level here dropped off with the onset of the gallery.

Posting photos on this main page, I think, promotes discussion.

I think one of the reasons we wanted the gallery was because for people with dial-up, the pages were really slow-loading. Maybe most people have high-speed now - i don't know. We should use the gallery now that we have it, but we could post more pictures here. Just a thought. :) My initial thought, actually, was to post one pic here and the rest in the gallery.

What does everyone else think?

In my opinion, I like the Gallery and Conversation forums, it's only one click of the mouse to get there.
