Hi all,

I've had a Ming Aralia for a few months and after I repotted it it consistrently gets mold on the top of the soil every time I water it. I'm definitely not overwatering, the plant is probably terribly thirsty. I'm going to repot and wondered if anyone can recommend a good home-made mix. I originally had it in a potting soil/peat moss mix and want to avoid peat as much as possible since it caused an outbreak of fungus gnats, but I bought some sand and perlite to add this time.
