Sara, if you can move them outside in full shade and keep watered they may leaf out again if roots are still healthy. You could cut off tops and try rooting too. But unless they were very expensive hybrids or just have a certain sentimental value, I think you could replace them very inexpensively, especially there in FL. (And be careful that those pups don't get into plants which could be harmful to them...) josh

Thanks for your info. I agree with you that it would probably be just as well to replace them. They are about 5 ft tall plus the pot and have really interesting shapes.
But, I don't have any place that is totally shaded outside.

We watch the pups pretty well and are very aware that they could get into something not good for them. They really didn't do much to the dracenas. Thanks so much for your concern. They are our "kids" and we do spoil them.

Sara, I think I'd put them on north or east side of house (least amount of sun), keep watered and you might be surprised by new leaves. I've just cut off some more lanky Croton stems and hoping they will take root and that the stubs will leaf out. Those I cut earlier look like new plants. It's late but we've still got a few weeks of heat & humidity left. Good luck! josh
