Agastache

I planted mine from seeds that I got on this site a couple of yrs. ago. I winter-sowed them & when I transplanted them into my garden they got gigantic! I'm talking 6 ft tall and gloriously beautiful. Now I don't know what to do now that the growing season is winding down. Do I cut them down when I put my garden to bed for the winter? Will they return in spring? I plan on collecting some seeds from them just in case. Or do I pull them out of the ground like annuals? Gosh I hope they come back as huge as they got this yr. They were a wonderful backdrop for my garden. When I get the hang of my new camera I'll try posting a pic.
