Hi NTG,
There afew trees which are called Jasmine Tree. As far as I know none of them actually is in the genus Jasminum, but they do have very fragrant white or whitish blossums. One of these is Wrightia religiosa, aka water jasmine. And there is another whose name I cannot find just now. I tried to raise it from seed last year but was not successful in getting it to germinate. If your's sets seed, can I be get in line for afew? BTW if you could post a picture we might be able to be of more help.

Thanks for the info Jerry. I googled the Wrightia religiosa and although it looks somewhat similar to mine, I am not absolutely sure that is what it is. I would be happy to send you seeds if it does set seeds. Wish I knew how to post pics and I would. I'll see if I can find one and email it to you. I'm still looking to see if I can ID it.
