Fuchsia sp. might mean a species of some sort, but the question is which one? :). Sorry I can't be of more help to you, when they flower come back and describe the flowers, that might give us a clue - Kath :)

If they are hardy fuchsias (very likely since many of these are species - most of the tender ones are hybrids and not very tall growing) then you should be good. Your post has garbled all the size info for my reader (strange symbols rather than numbers or letters), but if the size is significant (over 4') then you most likely DO have hardy fuchsias, probably F. magellanica. I'd be a bit leary of full sun planting for these in the heat of Georgia - part shade would be better. Some forms of magellanica can grow quite tall - I have one that hits 8' regularly - but they tend to be very shrubby rather than tree-like in form. They can also experience some winter dieback, so often pruning back deadwood will reduce their size significantly but they grow back quickly.
