OK here we go.. I have a limp fuchsia like a lot of people. Sitting in the shade. Since it's a standing type, I read to cut back everything but the top 3 shoots, which I did. Also read someone had success sitting their plant in a tray of rocks with water in it. So I tried that last night and what leaves are left look incredible and bouncy this morning. My question is... won't the plant suck water up out of that humidity tray? It's been 105 degrees here in Folsom, CA and the plant has been looking like me when I haven't washed my hair for a week. So, I am encouraged, but worried. Will the plant get too much water with this method?? This morning it's very bouncy, as I said before, but the soil feels pretty moist.. help?? ideas?? thanks!!
