Fuchsias for tropícal conditions

I wonder if anyone can suggest any Fuchsias that will do well in a tropÃcal garden. The only two I have that are any good are Thalia and Marinka ( the green leaf form not the variegated ). All the others I have tried either won't flower or are very short lived.

Fuchsia triphylla and its hybrids. In fact they freeze to death in any climate that is not tropical.

Fuchsia boliviana is a beautiful species, especially the so-called "alba" which is really scarlet and white. It likes a cool-tropical climate.

Fuchsia paniculata is not spectacular but it is quite tropical.
