You may be able to get them removed for free, or a small charge if you find the right person, most people will charge, reguardless of the type of tree..

Does cedar wood make good firewood?

i had quite a few large ones taken out of my woods by a guy who makes cedar chests. he did not pay me nor did i pay him. he was glad to have the wood for his craft and i am glad to have a more open woodland area in which to plant.
you could advertise locally for a similar deal.
not sure about using it as firewood. seems like i heard it is so resinous that it pops/sparks heavily and the residue can accumulate in your chimney worse than other types of wood but don't hold me to that.

You might tree checking with a local arborist ... they might know who can transplant them or might want large trees for a landscape job.

Are these native Red Cedar trees or Himalayan Cedars?

You might get some response if you post some flyers in your neighborhood. "Free trees - You dig" I can imagine a lot of these new treeless neighborhoods wanting something like that.
