Home Depot rents trucks, and I'm pretty sure they have smaller ones than the big moving trucks. I have no idea what the cost is, but it might be worth checking into.

Don't think you'd want an enclosed truck for hauling manure. It would be way too difficult to load as well as unload. And the heavy rains coming will compound the problem for awhile. Wet manure is super heavy.

I'd follow up on GGG's referral and look for others on Craigslist - even put a wanted ad in yourself.

We've used Enterprise the past three years. I explained that I wanted to pick up compost and the guy said any of their larger pickups would be fine for the job and as long as we cleaned out the bed and replace the gas before returning the truck shouldn't be a problem. Last year we spent 75 total for the truck and gas. Cheapest route to me. Compost was free from Cobb County Waste Mgmt

It looks like Enterprise does rent pickup trucks. Thanks for the suggestion. I will look into it.

From prior experience, I know that Home Depot rents trucks for transporting materials from their stores, not for other uses. I suppose you can make a little side trip to pickup manure and hope Home Depot does not catch wind of it.
