Nicely done, this should give all the protection needed. We got an early freeze, the poor hydrangea out front took a hit, usually leaving the spent flower heads on until the following spring helps but this year no flowers as this one was cut to the ground and thinned out in March, it's old and really needed renewing, time will tell if I get flowers next year. Sad looking isn't she :(. Annette

Does the green dome let light into the plant? I have a couple small evergreens that I had in pots and want to transplant to the yard (yes, may be too late this year), but I can't imagine that they would survive in the dark. Might try something like that for some smalled deciduous shrubs, though.

Hope your windbreaks do the job. Your boxwood looks fabulous!
