My interest in granite dust on roses came from a book "Folk Medicine" copywrited in 1958. A medical doctor's fascinating book was about living and serving in Vermont. He made a bare mention that his 60 roses did not need spraying once he starting applying granite dust (presumably in the soil). He makes a good case for this application. Anyone know any more about granite dust and flowers such as roses and delphiniums?
