Raspberries Again

Lowe's has several varieties of raspberries in- one called Heritage that is supposed to do well in heat and drought. I have only tried doman red, which is the only recommended Georgia variety. They are 10 bucks each, so I was hoping for some advice before I get one.

On another note, I special ordered two teeny Triple Crown blackberries from Paradise nurseries for $25 bucks. Wouldnt you know, Lowe's has huge ones for $10.

Last year I wanted to get a Heritage raspberry but my h talked me out of it at the store. When I got home and researched it on the net, I found out they should do fine here in AL. Obviously it isn't GA experience, but we're not that far apart.

I bought one today from Lowe's when I saw them. I've been waiting for them to arrive again so I can try it.

We have an Arapaho blackberry bush, bought it last year. It had huge blackberries, they were great. I have high hopes for this year's crop, when I can fertilize it.
