Hello all,

i have planted two cuttings of geranium, i put them in containers with peat and dipped the end tip in hormone rooting powder. i also removed the lower leaves from the stems that i planted and i put the pots on the window sill in my kitchen which has some sun in the afternoons. i planted them around a week ago and now one leaf from each stem is yellowing. is that normal until roots form or is it a negative sign? how long will it take for roots to grow?
