esh-Is there a list of plant vendors or a list of plants available? Would it be worth attending if you mostly wanted to add some native plants to your landscape and buy them there? I am especially would like native azaleas. I had several at my house in Marietta and wanted to add them to my landscape in Flowery Branch.

We will definitely have native azaleas there to support the presentation on those. GNPS is actually the vendor for those, purchasing them directly from a nursery that specializes in native azaleas. We will have other vendors with a mix of plants: perennials, ferns, and shrubs.

I think you could get a lot of plants there and enjoy the presentations as well.

If you cannot make it there, the GNPS native plant sale (which is huge) will be April 21st at Piedmont Park. But I hope you can attend the symposium.

Are the presentations held in an auditorium, class room or is it more of a tradeshow style affair? Held indoors or out?

Four of the presentations are in an auditorium. During the concurrent session period, two are held in classrooms and the third is in the auditorium. You sit down for all of them.

It is all indoors, although the plant vendors are usually outside under covered areas.

How I wish I had $50 just needing to be spent. I'd love to attend, especially to visit with Dr. Armitage, and for all the other wonderful sounding sessions.
