You might get this information directly off the internet but when you key it in please spell it Callaway.

I went to Callaway Gardens last year the first part of April. The Azaleas and Dogwoods were at their peak then. Tulips were beautiful also mixed in with the pansies.I thought this was a great time to be there. Timing depends on which flowers you wish to see. From April on there are things blooming to see and the vegetable garden which is great is best in late summer.

If you have kids or you like to swim, they have a great lake with a sandy beach and lots of water fun. Might be worth waiting until it is warm enough to swim (there's still lots in bloom then).

Thanks for sharing your personal experience with this fine garden. Just the info I was looking for since bloom times vary from season to sason. I will try to visit around the first part of April.

I live 5 miles from Callaway and have a seaon past. I would also have to say first week to mid April. Now that things have warmed a bit, I usually go about once a week. I didn't notice much blooming last week.

My husband and I are planning a 60th birthday trip to Callaway Gardens March 30th. Does anyone have lodging coupons for a stay at the gardens? It's our first time and wanted to stay two nights instead of just one.

If you go on their website, they have a bloom calendar, for azaleas anyway. That is the best time to go, second would be fall.

We were just in Georgia visiting family this past week. Knowing how I love gardens, they took us to see Callaway Gardens. It was quite beautiful and well worth the trip. I would recommend it highly, and right now is perfect timing.
