I would think so but....two months ago would have put the plant in January and in zone 7, such time of season would suggest the plant was not, and is yet, growing.
Therefore, you should have held back feeding it. Plants can only use when in growth mode. Forcing a plant to put on growth -- if its able to do so -- can provide foliage that doesn't bear up to the low sunlight; there isn't sufficient light to support new foliage.

As the light levels begin to go up now, your plant should show some early growth. Its that time then you can give your plant 1/4 - 1/2 rate of fertilizer. Water your soil first, then use the fertilizer solution. Let the plant drain and dump the excess after about 10 minutes.
Don't let the roots sit in that drainage.

If the leaf ends begin to turn brown, just use scissors and cut that off; keep the plant in good looking shape.
