When we bought our house about 6 years ago there were quite a few money plants growing in the backyard. They were very healthy and produced a lot of their popular silver dollars. Ever since that first year, we get a lot of seedlings in the spring that are very leggy. It's as if their roots are not deep enough in the ground. They end up falling over during a heavy rain or storm and then never stand up again. I took a picture of a seedling yesterday. I was wondering if I need to plant them deeper down to where the green part starts (so the white and the purplish stem would be underground)? Does that seem like a solution or is there something else I should be doing?
