Possible bacterial blight - Can I save my geranium?

Hi everyone,

I have a small potted geranium (not scented) in an East facing window that has been doing very well for about 7 months now. However, in the past week or so, I've noticed that a lot of the lower leaves are turning yellow and dropping off. There are also V-shaped brown spots with light colored edges appearing on some of the lower leaves. Is there anything I can do to save it? The blooms are fine and the plant is even growing new ones...

I water frequently...perhaps I've been watering too much? The geranium is on a windowsill, next to a gardenia and some ivy.

Thanks for any help,

-Sarah
