We purchased a home in the mountains with a steep slope. The slope is above our driveway and last spring we planted blue juniper as a ground cover. The juniper (10 plants) has doubled in size but we need much more planting material to cover the area. Is there any other type plant that might spread more quickly, yet is low to the ground? The slope receives direct midday sun. There is run-off if it rains, but I would consider it a relatively dry slope otherwise.
