I found a few at the HD in Snellville, and bought them. I also tried Lowe's, Pike's, and a local nursery to no avail. Good luck!

I saw Snow Muffins at HD last year too and bought one. Haven't seen them anywhere since. You are right about the pinks, every person even remotely connected to planting for hire is using them. They are the new variegated privet and japanese holly!

I bought some Snow Muffins at Charmar's in Athens. Hawksridge Nursery in NC has a good variety called Green Elf, but not sure when it will be commercially available.

Pinebush Nursery just outside of Athens has a bunch of these startlingly green/white flowering lorapetalums at good prices. I didn't catch the varietal name though.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like a hard-to-find plant. I may have to root some cuttings and grow a bunch of them myself!

Snow Muffin Loropetalum is a US patented and federally registered trademarked plant and cannot be propagated for sale without a special license. There are a couple of nurseries that can propagate them. There is a website dedicated to this plant and others. gardendebut.com is the site.

McCorkle Nurseries/Dearing, GA propagates the "Snow Muffin®' cultivar (Loropetalum chinense 'Snowmound, PP#11,766). They sell to Lowes, HD, and a number of other independents througout GA. (not Pikes!)
The link below lists the retail dealers in the state.
If a local nursery doesn't have them in stock, maybe you can persuade them to order some for you.
They also may have some available during their open house sale.

Saw the white flowering loros at Woody's Nursery in Duluth (don't know the varietal name). When I researched loropetalums in Dirr's Woodies book, an old edition, he referenced the 'new pink variety' as being promising. Right on, Dr. Dirr.
