Cuphea/Mickey Mouse Plant

Has anyone in Zone 8 Coastal Georgia tried growing Cuphea/Mickey Mouse Plant? I need growing directions. I have the Cuphea/Cigar Plant in a semi-shaded perennial bed and it does great, and wonder if the Mickey Mouse Plant needs the same growing conditions.
