Hey folks! I am a little new to gardening and I have a couple quick questions. I have yet to see my canna's resprout this year and a bear's breeches that I planted last summer.
The canna's are at the bottom of a slope to get plenty of water... Should they be back or not enough water drainage in the winter? What do you think?
Bear's Breeches is in a shady evenly moist spot... should be up yet?
only a few of my canna have respouted so far and they are only about an inch tall. Its normally towards the end of April before I see them spout. At this point, don't worry, and if you need more just let me know - I have plenty
Here in Macon my cannas are just beginning to sprout. My bear's breeches are in a large pot and just popped up last week. Bet this warm sun after all the rain will pop yours up soon.
I planted seven Canna's a bit late last year, around early July and only had two just barely sprout after 4-6 weeks! is that normal or did I have duds? The company I bought them from out in Oregon, Oregon Coastal Flowers, said they'd be okay and that was normal. Any thoughts? They are Orange Beauty's I believe.
