It is pretty difficult to tell what kind of plant it is without seeing a bloom (it may be difficult even with a bloom). You said in your above entry that it was budding out. Has it bloomed yet and if so can you give us another picture.

It looks like Columnea lobii growing in much to little light. all columneas and Asch. need as much as they will tolarate with out burning. to bloom well. Besure not to over water. much of there water is stored in foliage which has a thick layer of wax.

Steve I dont know if I spelled lobii right if the flowers are about 1/2 long red it lobii.
