OH MY... it was 9 years ago... the best would be to get the seeds from the Gesneriad Society seed fund... looks like they have it. You need to be a member of the Gesneriad society to order, but it is a fun organization to join.

It coes from the Sao Paolo area of Brasil and likes rich but well drained soil. Do not overwater. in winter it goes into dormancy so only once every 10 dasys or so.
