Thanks, anyway - nice of you to want to help. I posted in alpines, and several other places, but no info. On the positive side, nothing's dead yet, so I guess I'll just go on instinct. I'm growing them as alpines in pots with very gritty soil, since they seem to be mountain plants in nature, and planning to move them inside under lights for the summer to avoid our hot, humid nights. Lots of coddling for plants that are listed as hardy to zone 3, but of course that only tells half of the story when it comes to climate. No fun to grow something if it isn't a bit of a challenge, but I've never encountered a group of plants with so little info available!

I am attempting to grow a couple myself so far so good but they are in my cool greenhouse. I want to plant them outside and what I have read they say to plant them on a north facing rock wall and they dont like water sitting in the crown. I purchased mine form www.bovees.com you may want to contact them to see if they can tell you anything.
