I went a couple of weeks ago, and even with the hour and 15 minute trip each way, it was worth it. But of course, I had to spend enough to offset my gas money!

When I was there last night, I was talking to the lady who was ringing up my purchase (I think the owner's wife). She was talking about the good deal on the vincas (annual, $6 for a flat)...I looked at her and said, "There's a good deal on everything here!!" I sometimes kick myself for buying things at other nurserys before looking at Grower's Outlet. On Sunday, I got 3 sweet potato vines at a popular nursery chain for $10. The Grower's Outlet had them for $1 and they were 3 times bigger.
