I put a dwarf one in last year and was disappointed, hasn't thrived by any means. Kind of thin and didn't get the show I was expecting in the Fall. I have moved it to get more sun... it was getting about 4 hours I'd say before. Hopefully it does better.

I see it a lot more often now in professional plantings. In the right conditions (enough sun), it is beautiful and people love to show it off as a "native".

I moved mine to more sun this year too, they were not getting enough.

Should mine have put out new green growth by now? It is still brown...I guess its dead :( I might replace with another though, as they look beautiful.

Love these also, espcially in the fall in early morning when covered in dew with the sun shining on them. Sigh, tiz a heavenly sight.

hen I hired someone to do my landscape plan last year I was asked if there were any must have or any absolutely not have plants. Pink Muhley grass was my must have and mondo grass was one of my abolutely not plants.

I love how pink Muhley grass looks in the fall. Any ideas where I can get some in the Alpharetta/Roswell area?
