Clean them off with bleach under the faucet, not where you put food utencils!

I was more thinking that the hot water and the dishsoap would get rid of the oils not that the oil would spread all over our dishes. I am going to go crawl under a rock for a while :)

It would probably be fine but why take the chance. God only knows what would happen to your husband if there was some oily residue that got ingested.

There was a thing on Mythbusters last night where they tried out washing off poison oak oil with vodka to see if that would work and it did not. The only thing that removed the oil after contact was a special over the counter product designed to do that.

Clean tool & husband w/Tecnu. You can get it cheapest @ WalMart.

I don't think the dishwasher would be very good for the Felcos either.
