Thanks Marcy! Another great trade.

Just wanted to say thanks Marcy for a great time this afternoon. I came home with the motherload again. I am especially thrilled about my new gigantic camellia, so thanks again for that.

Thanks also to everyone who who traded, Cath, (plants4me?) I think I got your snowdrops and a gaura, they were mixed in with my pile of stuff. Didn't even see them until I unloaded and started to really sort through.

Awesome swap Marcy -- you did a great job hosting! Thanks so much for sharing your home and garden with us and for all your hard work.

Mom and I had a ball. Thanks to everyone for all the fantastic plants -- it's a miracle we got everything in the car. I thought I might have to leave my mother behind lol.

Ya'll enjoy the rest of your weekend! Sincerely, Danielle

    Thanks, Marcy,
It was a wonderful day. Looking back at the trades I've attended, I am amazed how lucky we have been with the weather. I got almost everything into the ground last evening and just barely watered in. I was hoping for a little help with some rain but I don't think it is going to make it this far east.
Thanks to all of you who love to share.

I want to thank Marcy and everybody for a wonderful day. This was my first plant swap and I think I'm hooked.

of course, my plants are all on the porch. they're probably going to have to go in the ground a few at a time, because today is my Monday (i.e., first day of my work week).

I did get them all watered and in the shade, but just as I was getting them out of the car, my daughter called because her boyfriend was in the ER with appendicitis. So picture me in the waiting room streaked with mud:) He went to surgery and he's fine now, but it wasn't exactly the afternoon I had in mind.

My daughter would like to thank everybody for her herbs (now that it's morning and she's not pacing the floor.) My son would like to thank Westender for the last piece of carrot cake. My husband is not thanking anyone because his mouth is full of oysters. thanks Marcy for letting me help you clean up:)

what a great bunch of people. I have promised myself that if i get all these plants in the ground by then, you'll see me at the fall swap:)

Almost got everything in the ground... still digging.

Thankyou Marcy for hosting a great trade! I had a good time and got everything I needed for planting this spring.
Thanks to everyone I traded with and sorry if I missed anyone.(please let me know if I forgot something I promised)

Great to see a couple new faces and fun talking with you returning traders. Especially enjoyed Glynnis' attempted back flip in the back yard.LOL Hope you aren't too bruised up from that little trip you took.

I believe I got a sample of everyones food(at least I hope I didn't miss any) and it was all Great!
I think I will need that recipe for the Apple Dumplings though, those were awesome! And once again Westender's Carrot Cake was the hit of the trade. WTG W E!

I just wanted to demonstrate the Wilson (my maiden name) finesse for gymnastics. Gardening makes one limber, you know!!

Sharon, I did not get a chance to say hello to you. So a late hello and I'm sorry!!!

Marcy's pond floored me. What a huge amount of work she and hubby have done so quickly.

Boy! I hate that I missed this!

Just wanted to add my thanks to Marcy and her husband and everyone else who participated in the plant swap.

As always I took home more than I brought, or at least I felt I took home better things than I brought, and I ate more than I needed to eat and enjoyed every single bite, almost making myself sick over those sinfully delicious oysters.

I want that apple dumpling recipe, too, but neglected to exchange my name with the person who brought them. Is it too late? Please email me if you see this.

Rose, I hope you found your plants, and I was VERY pleased with the ones you left for me. Were all 4 tomatoes the same, Burbank slicing? Are those determinate or indeterminate?

I'm finally beginning to remember some names put together with faces, and that's really nice. I hope we keep on doing this for a long time, and just want to say I really appreciate knowing this group of gardeners. You all are great!

Yes, Westender (and Brenda and Lindabeth), all Burbank slicing from organic seeds, and they are determinate so I hope you can do some canning!

I know what you mean about always coming out so well and happy from these plant trades. Thanks for the mint and eucomis (can't wait to see the dramatic effect!) and thanks Brenda and Barbara for trading with me. I love to participate in these trades (even if it's so often in an abbreviated fashion) because it gives me the opportunity to try out such varied materials, colors and textures -- often things I wouldn't think to buy.

And thanks to Marcy for being such a friendly and accommodating hostess.
    :)
    Rose
