The Pottery (or Craven Pottery) in Commerce has an immense selection of pots and garden art. IÂve also had good luck at Lakewood, which is the big antique/junk sale the second weekend of every month. Some of the outside vendors there had fabulous stuff this month.

Down the road from Growers' Outlet, try Rustic Rooster for metal art. Definitely call 1st. They are out alot @ home/garden shows. Also I got the info below from the web & I won't swear that it is correct! I just remember it is in Loganville & is attached to a stained glass store. I think you can get on an email list...

I've gotten a couple of verdigris trellis at Lakewood - they are a great deal, and they do have garden art. Their prices are the best. I also go to a place in Decatur called So Rare that has wonderful, unique pieces (they have a beautiful St. Francis and lots of iron pieces.)

Growers outlet has alot very cheap: bird baths, rabbits, ga.bulldogs, lots of birdbaths, saints, and the lady from Savannah with her hands held out....went there today and it was PACKED!!!!

I love the place that is down the road and across from the J&J fleamarket outside of Athens. It is a concrete and recycling outlet of some sort. Everything is inexpensive, and where else can you find 70's afro hairstyling monkeys (oh they are just WEIRD, even has a blowdryer in hand!!), strange religious sculputure, and other assorted oddities. I buy all my concrete pots and urns from them.

Gardeninggirl, this store, So Rare, isn't cheap but isn't so expensive it's way out of my league. They have all kinds of stuff, not just garden stuff. It's on East Ponce; if you're in downtown Decatur and heading towards Atlanta, it's on your right-hand before getting to the post office. I totally love this store and their garden things are very unique, classy, French-ish, etc.

FYI, I got a japanese garden "lantern" made out of cement at Growers Outlet as a Christmas present for a friend who was thinking of doing a zen garden. It was easily the least expensive one I've ever seen. Grower's Outlet is easy to get to, just take the 78 as if going to Stone Mountain, but stay on Hwy 78 until it turns into a road in Snellville, and then keep going on and on until it gets into the next county -- sounds horribly far but it isn't, really.

I've been to Grower's Outlet. It is a bit of a drive. I thought about heading out there over the weekend but never did.

I'm not sure about Watershed; I don't notice so many of the restaurants down there.

I went to The Pottery today, in Commerce, on my way back from Charlotte. That place has all kinds of statuary and pots - highly recommend for inexpensive statues of everything - Jesus, Mary, Roman goddesses, lions, little Chinese men and women, milk maids, gnomes, angels, Garden of Good and Evil statue, little children, etc. etc.
