I love Marcia - she is a lovely lovely lady. My understanding that her family members helped her, but there is nobody who is going to take over the business and let her retire. As far as I know Linda Rowe from Bloomin' Jungle is taking her growing stock - so her treasured plants - and a lot of them are very rare - are not going to be lost.

Now that Linda has left for Marcia's I feel more comfortable letting people know. Indeed Linda has arranged to buy all of Marcia's stock so her treasured and rare plants will not be lost. From what Linda had told me, her daughter and grand daughter moved out of state. They were the ones helping with the packing and shipping. Marcia can still tend to the plants but is not able pack.. Thus the closing.

I did not want to spread the word until Linda got the stock. It will be
sometime as she does not know what is left and needs to go thru it,
inventory it and start propagating. It's a lot of work but at least there is a
satisfaction in knowing many treasured varieties are preserved.
