My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Franny was a no-show at the plant trade yesterday. I notice that she last posted on April 24. I have tried to email her, but no response. Does anyone know how to contact her? There are a bunch of plants for her at my house. I hope she is OK
Hi All, we had a loss in our family last week. My niece who was 7 1/2 months pregnant started having complications a few weeks ago and sadly, last week she lost her baby.
I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend the plant swap. It sounds like you all had a wonderful time. I have everyone's plants and I would be glad to deliver them to you or I could bring them to the next swap if you don't mind waiting. Let me know which you prefer.
Hi Franny, I'm sorry about your niece and her baby. We missed you at the swap. That sounds like a good idea if you just want to bring mine to the next swap but don't worry about it. Glad you are OK. Thanks. Janen
I am praying for your niece and all your family. Having lost an unborn baby myself I express my condolences and share your pain. I will plant something beautiful in my garden in your family's honor. And look forward to meeting you this Fall in a plant swap.
Natalie, thank you for your prayers, my heart goes out to you. I'm so sorry for your loss. That is very kind of you to plant something in your garden for us. My sister and niece will be touched. I look forward to meeting you too this Fall.
I'm so sorry to hear about your neice and her baby. I lost my eldest son (at 2 years 10 months) 2 and a half years ago to bacterial meningitis. And we're still devastated. Your niece will need lots of support in the coming months/years. I planted a garden in memory of my son, Evan. It's a zoo garden with plants with animal names, and some plants with the cultivar name of Evan. It's been a fun and therapeutic way to pay tribute to my little boy.
Pam - I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. We lost our first two children - both had the same heart defect. The pain of losing a child is unbearable and only time has a way of softening the sharp edges of the pain. Support of family and friends means everything. My heart goes out to all of you who have lost a child.
Janen and Pam, I'm so sorry for your losses. Pam, I love your idea for a zoo garden. What a wonderful way to celebrate and honor Evan. I'd love to see pictures if you have any to share.
