Chirita tamiana is such an easy plant to grow, I can't think of why it wouldn't work. I like to grow it in groups so that I have more than one crown to produce flowers, since it generally seems to only have one flower cluster at a time from each crown. But, single plants look lovely too. Let your plant set seed and soon you will have dozens of little plants to experiment with.

One of my goals, which I would have done if I didn't already have too many plants, is to plant about thirty seedlings together in a low wide bonsai type pot, to make a little tamiana forest. I think that could be stunning when in flower. Seedlings can flower in as little as three months from germination.

I tried the bonsai dish - a smaller dish with about 8 or 9 plants. The trick is to make sure they are not spaced too far apart or they will take forever to grow and bloom. I haven't tried them in clay pots, but I have grown some in drought conditions and they don't suffer much.
